Turkish Delight
Ingredients: - 2 Packages gelatin
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1.4 cup lemon juice
- Finely grated rind of orange or lemon
Instructions:
- Soak gelatin in cold water.
- Combine sugar with boiling water and heat until sugar dissolves. Add gelatin, bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat, add fruit, and pour into a pan that has been rinsed with cold water.
- When set, cut into squares and roll in icing sugar.
