Events to Attend @ the Backus-Page House Museum

This weekend, July 11th & 12th is Living History Weekend, located at the Backus-Page House Museum! Bring your friends and family to experience many different historic eras all conveniently in one location. Living History Weekend includes; homesteaders, hands-on crafts, historic music, storytellers, children's activities, and military drills from over two centuries of Canadian History! Open 10am- 4pm on Saturday and 9am- 4pm on Sunday. General admission is $6.00 per day, 12 and under are FREE. Weekend passes are available for $15.00 (includes breakfast on Sunday). 
























History Day Camp runs every Thursday in July and every Wednesday in August. There are lots of fun activities planned for each day. Pre-register your child(ren) today! Themes include; Talbot and the Early Settlers, Confederation, The Railroad, WW1, Roaring 20's, Dirty 30's, WW2, We Love the 50's and 60's, and the 70's and 80's!

Also happening in our community is the Arts & Cookery Bank's Food Fight! Join the Food Fight on July 18 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm.
Celebrity judges include: Stephanie Brewster, Paul Amos, Emily Richards, Jill Wilcox, Marc Forrat and Andrew Campbell.

On July 15th Ingersoll's Centennial Park is hosting a Shakespeare play! Beginning at 7:30 pm, Driftwood Outdoor Theatre presents the play, HamletBring your blankets, bug spray and lawn chairs, and sit back to enjoy Shakespeare under the stars! Pay what-you-can admission, $20/person is suggested.
