Lemon Cordial
- 6 fresh lemons
 - 1 1/2 quarts of milk
 - 1 1/2 quarts of French Brandy
 - 3 pounds of powdered loaf sugar
 
Instructions:
- Cut the lemons into thin slices, put them into the milk, boil it until the whey is clear. Pass it through a sieve.
 - Add the French Brandy and powdered loaf sugar to this whey.
 - Stir it until the sugar is dissolved. Let stand and then bottle it. You may also add lemon rind.
