We're Hiring....Part Time Position Available

PART TIME POSITION AT BACKUS-PAGE HOUSE MUSEUM

180 hours from Oct. 1 – Dec. 31, 2013  www.backuspagehouse.ca

Must be a post-secondary student under 30 years of age.

Duties will include museum tours, membership sales, collection records, office administration, and event support.  Must have computer experience, current police check, excellent written and verbal skills.  Shifts include days, evenings, and weekends.  We will make every effort to work around school schedules. 
This position is subsidized by Young Canada Works through the Canadian Museum Association.
To be eligible to apply for this position, applicants must register in the YCW online candidate inventory (www.youngcanadaworks.ca).  Rate of pay will be $10.25 per hour.

Throughout the day: wagon rides, agricultural horse demonstrations, antique vehicles and equipment,  crafter’s, tours of museum, wood stove cooking, saw demonstrations, barn exhibit. “Accounts of a Hard Day’s Work” Exhibit, farmer’s market, and much more!
